Strelets marching legion
I have received two "Roman Legion on the march" sets by Strelets. I love these miniatures and I have got plans for them.
This is the first painted soldier.

They've said NO
This is a WIP for a Barbarian "Gladiator film style" command stand. I´m preparing the barbarian chief with the unfortunate roman's head. I´m going to use Dacian miniatures instead Ancient German.

Barbarians
These are some colour trials for the barbarians. Dacian noblewarrior, warrior and Ancient German warrior. The Dacian retuled sets are fantastic. The falx is scary.

Roman Auxiliaries
I´m going to make two Basic Impetus armies, an Early Imperial Roman army and then an Ancient German or Dacian army. I´m currently deciding how many miniatures I will put in each stand.

Field of Glory or Impetus?
I´m painting Strelets Imperial Romans. They have a lot of interesting sets and with some conversions you can rise a complete army. Here are some pictures of the WIP. I need to base them but I don´t know for which ruleset. I like Impetus basing because you can do minidioramas in each stand. I´m using 28mm base size.
New Year... thousands of projects
I have create this new blog to post all the things I´m planning to do with 1/72 plastic miniatures. The main reasons is I LIKE TO PAINT THEM and I can buy hundreds for a few pounds. There are a lot of companies making them and there are a lot of references for all historical periods.
I have the same problem as most painters, little time to paint for myself, so when I buy 28mm miniatures I don´t want to paint them fast. With 1/72 it's different, I'm not afraid of painting them fast and I might not do it as carefully as with in 28mm. This doesn't mean that I don't like 1/72 plastic, it's because they are cheap, easy to paint and repaint and it's exactly what I need to make a complete army to play, in a relatively short period of time.
SO I LOVE THIS SCALE
